Job Description

  • Permit & NOC Coordination:
    • Prepare and submit applications for permits and NOCs to relevant authorities (e.g., ADM, ADSSC, ADDC, DOT, Civil Defense).
    • Track and follow up on submissions to ensure timely approvals.
    • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather required documentation and resolve authority comments.
  • Construction Engineering Support:
    • Collaborate with site teams to align construction activities with approved permits and authority requirements.
    • Provide technical input during the planning and execution phases to ensure compliance with local regulations.
    • Assist in resolving site issues related to authority inspections or permit conditions.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain organized records of all permit and NOC applications, approvals, and correspondence.
    • Prepare formal letters and official communications with government bodies.
    • Generate regular status reports for internal stakeholders on permit progress and risks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Act as the liaison between the project team and government authorities.
    • Attend meetings and site inspections as needed.
    • Ensure clear and timely communication across all involved parties.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of local authority requirements and construction regulations.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong documentation and report-writing abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in construction engineering, with direct involvement in permit and NOC processes.
  • Experience working on mixed-use developments in the UAE.
  • Familiarity with Abu Dhabi authority procedures and portals is highly preferred.
  • Must be able to work cooperatively with others, a great team player.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of this work.
  • Must have a valid UAE Driving License
