Job Description

About the team 
Game Distribution is the team that handles multiple game distribution platforms, making it a one-stop-shop for game developers and publishers to engage their audiences. We are a young, fast paced and fun team, which is currently expanding, and thus inviting more people who share our passion for gaming. We are always striving for more improvement and are very eager to grow our contribution to the company further.
 

What you will be doing in this role
As a Game Community Manager you are in the lead to grow our developers community by offering valuable information, tips, and support to help developers succeed with the distribution of their games in Gamedistribution.com. Your role is to make use of a variety of online tools such as newsletters, FAQ’s, blogs, and social media to share insightful content and help developers to have the best experience and results when using our platform. The main goal of this job is to create engagement and communication with our B2B audiences to enhance the performance of distributed games.

 

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing web promotion strategies and campaigns to engage our B2B audience
  • Creating content such as newsletters, FAQ’s, blogs, and social media posts
  • Writing content using language and terminology that will be easily understood by our game developers audience
  • Organizing content shared on our website and promoting best practices for monetization, distribution, and user experience
  • Providing support to developers through different community channels
  • Communicating and managing a variety of stakeholders

Qualifications

What you are able to bring to the table:

  • 4+ years of experience in B2B online marketing or community management
  • Experience growing and strengthening online communities
  • Experience creating valuable and engaging content for different online marketing channels such as email, blogs, own media, and social media
  • High understanding of game developers needs
  • Support and solutions oriented and strong analytical skills
  • Previous work experience within the gaming industry 
  • Understanding of gaming terminology and ability to use it while creating content
  • Excellent writing skills in English
