Axiado software team is seeking a Sr Lead Software Engineer who has worked on Linux kernel driver and applications development. The position is responsible for owning specific features to take such features from concept to delivery working under guidance of technical leads. This will be a leadership position and this person will have to wear multiple hats. 

• 10-15 years of overall software development experience 

• 10+ Experience in embedded Linux kernel drivers and application development  

• Excellent C coding skills and debugging skills in Kernel and user space. 

• Strong Computer architecture, Operating system fundamentals and data structures. 

• Experience with Linux Drivers for various peripherals such as Interrupt controllers, PCIe, USB, eMMC/SDIO, eSPI/SPI, I2C/I3C etc. 

• Understanding of microprocessor architecture of ARM and/or RISC-V families 

• Hands-on experience debugging embedded systems using tools such as scopes, logic analyzers and JTag debuggers 

• Ability to work with traces to debug and optimize performance 

• Work with contractors

• Basic understanding of hardware IP architecture, development, and verification 

• Experience in use of modern software development tools (Git/GitLab/bitbucket, Confluence, Jira)
