About the role
Oversees and directs assigned teams to ensure timely product manufacturing and shipping in accordance with customer requirements, safety standards, quality control, internal policies, and legal regulations, while playing a vital role in the further development of the production environment within the distribution center.
Key Responsibilities
This role is based on-site at our distribution center in Prague.
- Coordinate daily operations in the DC, maintaining close cooperation with the Central Planning team and ensuring SOP compliance aligned with safety standards.
- Optimize human resources across teams to ensure effective utilization, monitor workload versus production capacity, and coordinate overtime with relevant Team Leaders.
- Supervise DC key performance indicators, review results with team leaders, and lead MDI sessions with OPs and Technicians.
- Act as an Ariba super user responsible for purchasing consumables and services, including identification, pricing revisions, and supplier selection.
- Maintain and update SOPs, actively drive 5S activities, support team development and safety strategy, and act as a backup for the DC Manager.
Kvalifikace
Required
- Previous work experience of 5+ years in an international manufacturing environment with team management experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both spoken and written Czech and English.
- Strong ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple key tasks simultaneously.
Skills you need to succeed
- Good knowledge of planning and project management principles.
- High degree of accuracy, time-management, priority setting skills, and strong cultural empathy as a team player.
