Job Description
We are seeking a highly strategic and tactically driven Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operations within the Cleveland Films Facility. In this critical role, you will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and day-to-day execution. You will have direct oversight of a diverse team, including Control Engineers and hourly Maintenance Technicians, ensuring seamless collaboration across technical disciplines and maintaining an efficient environment for everyone.

Promote safety as the most important value in the organization by contributing through training, project management, and other EHS responsibilities.
Lead, develop, and challenge the maintenance staff to create process stability while providing direct hands-on assistance to maintenance technicians as needed.
Develop and implement long-term preventative and proactive maintenance strategies to minimize unplanned downtime.
Partner with operations and engineering to scope, plan, and execute CapEx, end-to-end infrastructure, and business continuity projects.
Manage and improve work order systems, spare parts, tools, and supply inventory to minimize operating costs while overseeing daily operations to ensure efficient response times.
Qualifications
B.S. Degree in Engineering, preferred.
3-5+ years demonstrated success in plant maintenance leadership role or engineering leadership role
B.S. Degree in Engineering preferred, combined with 3-5+ years of demonstrated success in a plant maintenance leadership role or engineering leadership role.
Demonstrated experience with the development of a technical training strategy, talent development, and a willingness to maintain a hands-on position as needed.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including automation control, DCS systems, mechanical drives, PLCs, sensors, and motor controls.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, budgets, and engineering projects concurrently in a dynamic factory environment.
Strong leadership, organization, and computer skills—including proficiency with MS Office, CMMS, Google platform, and AutoCAD—with an ability to actively promote teamwork and resolve conflicts.
Additional Information
The salary range for this position is $96,225 - $143,696 / year.
The hiring base salary range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting.
