Job Description
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
The (Senior) HR Service Specialist operates within the hub workforce experience, governance, and project management sector. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead employee operational support and manage employee inquiries for the Thailand workforce, ensuring a high degree of employee satisfaction, expertise, accuracy, and timeliness.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
Act as a key HR representative in Thailand and provide quality HR service to local workforce and business
Liaise with line managers and support a wide spectrum of HR services including manpower planning, performance management and talent development
Serve as the expert on Thailand local policies, providing guidance and support to employees and escalate as necessary
Manage local operational matters in Thailand such as employee onboarding, insurance renewals, employee surveys, local management activities etc.
Manage and resolve complex employee queries and employee relations matters, disciplinary issues, grievances, and labor disputes, etc.
Provide advice to management teams and people managers on the company HR strategy, such as Service delivery, performance management, talent & development, compensation, support in implementing digital strategies and processes, etc.
Support implementation of organizational change agenda including transformational projects
Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring HR strategies to meet operational and business objectives
Act as a cultural ambassador, embedding corporate values and practices within the organization, and organize cultural-driven activities to cultivate a positive work environment
Monitor adherence to to corporate values and management principles, ensuring cultural alignment and organization health
Coordinate the alignment of HR processes within and across countries in the region
Educate the workforce on available services and promote the use of self-service tools and internal systems.
Maintain overall compliance with applicable standards
Proactively identify process gaps and employee needs to expand the internal knowledge base and services
Participate in and support ad hoc HR tasks and regional projects as assigned.
Qualifications
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
Minimum Degree in Human Resources, Administration, Business, or related studies; a post-graduate degree in HR management is an advantage.
Minimum 4-6 years of proven experience in HR Operations or HR Shared Services within a complex organization.
A customer-focused approach with the professional ability to manage various internal and external stakeholders.
Strong drive for results and the ability to navigate a matrix organization with responsiveness and speed.
Ability to work independently for end-to-end process and achieve expected work results
Ability to interpret data to understand service trends and workload capacity.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive matters with strict confidentiality and strong interpersonal skills.
Superior verbal and written communication skills in both English and Thai are essential.
Solid understanding of Thailand Labor Laws.
High proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office is required; experience with Oracle and ServiceNow is a significant advantage.
An enthusiastic, self-driven individual capable of working under pressure with limited supervision across different functions and geographies.
