About the role

Are you a student who is interested in translating your skills into a career in marketing communications? This internship is scheduled to start on July 1st, 2026 for a duration of 6 months. The role requires a minimum commitment of 5 days per week, with the flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per week. As an intern at Avery Dennison, the successful candidate will use their talent and insights to assist with the full lifecycle of marketing projects and events. Based at the European headquarters in Oegstgeest, the intern will work closely with a team of specialists in communications, digital marketing, and event management to help spread the word about eco-friendly options for packaging design in a business-to-business (B2B) environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • This is a hybrid role. The office days are: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
  • Support with the development of internal and external events (live and virtual).
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales and marketing supporting materials (brochures, e-mails, webpages, LinkedIn posts, and other collateral) according to brand guidelines.
  • Support management with incoming requests related to corporate visual identity, advertising or any other MarCom issues coming from our European offices.
  • Coordinate social media campaign traffic, including monitoring, campaign planning, design and evaluation.
  • Join the team in creative brainstorming for a diverse range of projects.

Qualifications

Required

  • Enrolled at a Dutch university following a Bachelor or Master degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Studies or other related fields of study.
  • Fluent in writing and speaking in English, other languages are a plus
  • Good knowledge of Google Slides, Sheets and Docs.
