Job Description
Pay: Highly competitive rates + $2.00/hour shift differential Shift: 12-hour Rotating DuPont Schedule (7am–7pm / 7pm–7am) Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision (Day 1), 401(k) + Match, Paid Vacation & Holidays.
Are you a natural "fixer" who loves to deconstruct complex problems? At Avery Dennison, we don't just patch equipment; we solve for the future. We are looking for a Maintenance Technician with a "Solutions Architect" mindset—someone who uses technical curiosity to diagnose root causes and keep our Performance Tapes facility running at peak performance.
Your Impact:
Diagnosis & Repair: Use detailed drawings, schematics, and precision tools to locate and fix mechanical failures in pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machinery.
Electrical Mastery: Install and troubleshoot complex electrical systems, including motors, switchboards, automated controls, and circuit breakers.
PLC Troubleshooting: Utilize PLCs to identify faults in automated lines and implement corrective measures.
Preventive Excellence: Follow strict maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and assist engineers in identifying long-term process improvements.
Safety Leadership: Maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant workspace. We prioritize the safety of our team above all else.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Experience: 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work.
- Technical Proficiency: Proven expertise in Electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting/repair.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Manufacturing, Electrical disciplines, or equivalent.
AutoCAD proficiency.
Advanced PLC root-cause diagnostic skills.
Agility: Ability to work independently and pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with production teams and explain technical issues clearly.
