Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth launch of programs and Retail Brand (RB) initiatives for local supply.
- Identify feasible and cost-effective methodologies for product development.
- Deliver timely estimates based on optimal production capability.
- Initiate and accelerate the pace of development through the adoption of the ELS approach.
- Drive product re-engineering efforts to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Authorize counter sample approvals.
- Guarantee the timely and consistent provision of samples, proofs, formats, data integrity tests, and ink drawdowns to manufacturing units for commercial production adherence.
- Develop retailer manuals, sample packs, and catalogs as required. Disseminate regular updates concerning products and manuals to relevant internal departments.
- Engage in the resolution of critical issues, and serve as a technical resource for cross-functional teams when required.
- Conduct training or provide assistance to Customer Service (CS), Sales, Operations teams, and Vendors (as necessary) to ensure the achievement of the highest standards of service and quality mandated by the customer or Retail Brand (RB).
- Be accountable for maintaining 5S standards for housekeeping, specifically concerning sample storage and document preservation.
- Execute local and global projects.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned.
- Manage complex or key Retail Brand (RB), such as MLA and high-volume programs, independently with minimal guidance from team leaders.
- Act as a buddy for sub group, offering support to team members on daily development tasks and problem resolution.
- Address problems, propose solutions, and collaborate proactively with stakeholders to ensure effective execution.
- Participate in departmental projects and provide valuable contributions.
- Identify areas for improvement in existing processes and implement actions to enhance efficiency.
- May serve as the project leader to coordinate cross-functional teams for business development.
- Identify opportunities for improvement within the GPD organization and successfully initiate and execute internal projects to enhance team efficiency.
Qualifications
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by effective public relations (PR) abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under pressure and adhere to stringent deadlines.
- Proactive and adaptable work ethic.
- Proven capability in managing multiple tasks concurrently.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of the Ready-Made Garments (RMG) industry and Avery Dennison.
- Educational background: Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)/Master of Business Administration (MBA) in any discipline, or Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering or any other engineering discipline.
- Applicable with a minimum four years of experience.
