About the role

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for managing the flow of goods and supplies within the facility. This role ensures that all items are received, recorded, and transported accurately, while also preparing products for shipment according to established safety and quality standards to maintain efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive all goods delivered to the warehouse and ensure related documentation is completed in a timely manner according to approved procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of all products for shipment in accordance with written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor and maintain Finished Goods Stocks, including performing weekly cycle counts to monitor stock levels and damage.
  • Maintain warehouse areas in a clean and orderly manner at all times while complying with all safety-related procedures.
  • Manage requisitions from production and report any variances or deviations from Standard Operating Procedures to the Supervisor.
  • Complies with all safety related procedures.

Qualifications

  • Essential experience within a warehousing environment, specifically within a manufacturing setting.
  • Valid Counter Balance Forklift License with practical experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a preference for experience using computer-based inventory systems.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively on one's own initiative or as part of a team in an environment open to change.
  • Must possess a current clean driving license and be 18 years of age or over due to shift pattern requirements.
