Job Description
Summary:
We are seeking trustworthy candidates who work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy. This role can expect to work with large amounts of numerical data, handle multiple tasks with deadlines, and provide transparent and complete reports to management. You should have a firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations and possess strong computer and verbal and written communication skills.
To ensure success, Accountants should be prompt, honest, detail-oriented, professional, and analytical. Top candidates will have excellent presentation skills with the ability to successfully communicate complex quantitative data to decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly/Quarterly Close Process: accountable for timely and accurate monthly and quarterly close process including, journal entry preparation, schedule submission and account reconciliations. Analysis of financial results and investigate variances as required.
- Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information
- Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options
- Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents
- Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Maintains financial security by following internal controls
- Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations
- Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
- Create and prepare periodic bad debt and delinquent accounts receivable analysis
- Promote effective relationships with and between Sales, Operations, Revenue Accounting and Finance by providing delinquent accounts receivable data and consolidating inter-departmental business requirements in the Company's credit policies and processes
- Work with account executives, management, to facilitate resolution of disputed billings for subsequent adjustment and/or payment.
- Establish and execute delinquent accounts receivable escalation processes and procedures
- Identify, initiate and enhance opportunities for collections optimization, process improvement and workflow efficiency gains
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential
- Posts incoming invoices for direct and indirect purchasing
- Maintains vendor bank data on the vendor master data
- Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
- Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Accounting or Business degree is required
- 4-5 years of previous accounting experience
- Excellent computer skills (Google applications, MS Excel, SAP and/or Oracle).

- High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities, while adapting as needed based on business demands
