Job Description
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
As Senior Project Engineer you will be responsible for managing, executing and completing projects such as new equipment deployments and start up, Equipment or Process upgrades, Continuous Improvement and other activities required by the business & operations.
You will be responsible to ensure the completion of detailed schedules for projects from initiation to completion and you will need to keep stakeholders and management informed of any deviations.
Part of your duties will be monitoring and managing the status of projects including cost, scope, timing and resources. You will work closely with other departments and suppliers to achieve the company's goal.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing Project Management supports while developing specifications for new equipment and processes.
- Performing Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) for all new Equipment and upgrade projects.
- Preparing all Engineering Requirement and CAPEX budget proposals/justification for new machines and modification of existing machines.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING TO THE TEAM:
Avery Dennison has a long history of being a market leader. Your history is important to us. It should include the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic) or equivalent.
- Previous work experience of minimum 3 years in Equipment Engineering and Project Management.
- Good data analytical skills, result oriented, proactive and resourceful with a high degree of independence.
- Strong project management-, report writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel
- Confident, determined, possess great leadership and able to work and communicate well with peers and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently with demonstrated self-initiation.
- Flexible and proactive team player.
- Extensive traveling will be required up to 40% of the time, depending on the business- and project-needs.
