The Go To Market (GTM) Manager is responsible for developing and tracking the execution of the channel go to market plans at a global, regional and key customer level. The GTM Manager is the interface between Strategy, Solutions, Marketing and Commercial and Operational execution.

Some key activities for the GTM Manager include:

  • Provide the commercial front end and factory teams with a full toolkit to successfully win in the market and execute the channel strategy

  • Develop a seasonal toolkit including the SAVE model (Solution, Access, Value we create, Education) to empower and enable cross-functional teams to execute on GTM tactics

    • Ensure we have the right Solution portfolio, working closely with the market intelligence team, commercial and product line management teams to brief and develop solutions based on consumer and market needs

    • Provide guidance on the Access to our solutions, define where we play (channel, market); Ensure the merchandising and sales teams have clarity on the key seasonal priorities, initiatives and ranges

    • Articulate the Value we create, the problems we are solving in a clear and consumer friendly manner

    • Educate and train our internal and external stakeholders on our added value and our solutions with the support of HR, Sales Enablement and PLM

  • Own the channel execution calendar, aligning Marketing activities with commercial and market needs

  • Create clarity by measuring success, unlocking blockers and providing status updates to relevant stakeholders

  • Manage internal and external stakeholders to eliminate confusion and to ensure alignment and progress

  • Lead and inspire the GTM team

  • Participate as a key member of the team sports channel leadership team

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar experience required
  • 10+ years related business experience, emphasizing sales, business development and marketing desired
  • Advanced business and financial acumen needed
  • Experience successfully preparing and executing go-to-market strategies
  • Strategic sales management experience, international exposure preferred
  • Demonstrated success in cross-regional projects or initiatives
  • Experience in planning and forecasting, with practical experience in researching new opportunities and implementing successful account penetration
  • Excellent organizational and people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner
  • Experience in strategic leadership and negotiation
  • Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Google Suite tools and function specific software.
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills
  • Apparel industry relationships preferred
  • External embellishments or related market experience preferred
