Label & Graphics Materials Group Asia (LGM Asia) 

LGM Asia is one of the 4 regions within the LGM WW Group with more than 3000 people and operates (manufacturing or distribution centers) in 13+ countries, including but not limited to: Greater China, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, VIetnam, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, India, South Africa and Kenya.

Job Description:

Avery Dennison is seeking an experienced IT Manager to support the execution of APAC digital priorities over the coming years. Reporting into the APAC IT Director, in this key role you will liaise between the regional and global IT teams, the regional Business teams and our vendors to fulfil the following responsibilities. 

Responsibilities:

• Partnership - establishing strong IT partnership with the regional business stakeholders across the following APAC sub-regions: China, Korea, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Defining clear accountability and ownership between IT and Business.
   

• Driving Innovation - you have a strong understanding and passion for digital trends and new technologies to solve day-to-day business problems, identify opportunities to drive growth and new revenue streams. You will also drive the overall cross-functional IT strategy for “Made in China 2025”.
   

• Portfolio Management - lead the sub-regional portfolio and overall status reporting in close collaboration with the Global IT functions such as Global Applications, Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, Security etc. As the IT Manager on the ground, you will serve as an extension of the Global IT teams. 

• Change Management - you will drive the necessary sub-regional change management activities in close collaboration with the business and the global IT teams. Specially for the planned ERP implementation, you will be playing a key role to plan and execute the organizational change and governance activities.
   

Financial Management - you will be establishing a structured IT budget tracking and reporting process, in close collaboration with the IT Project Management Office and the regional Finance teams. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field preferred. A Masters or MBA degree would be an advantage but not a must.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar IT Manager role

• Must have strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain strong relations with business and IT stakeholders

• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills with demonstrated examples of leading and/or supporting successful projects

• Oracle ERP and SFDC CRM experiences are desirable, but not mandatory

• Ability to plan strategically with Business and IT stakeholders, as well as to translate into an implementation plan for the organization. 

• Effective communication skills (written, verbal, active listening) and professional behavior

• Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively

• Sound business and technical acumen

• Project Management and/or IT BA experiences are preferred

• Strong influencing and listening skills

• Sense of responsibilities

• Strong presentation skills

• Sound knowledge of process mapping and process optimization 

• Strong language skills in English and Chinese are required

• Travel within the APAC regions required
