Job Description

  FP&A manages the end-to-end regional planning process and leads the coordination of the preparation
and distribution of financial management reports.
 Liaises with Commercial Finance, Operations Finance and SG&A team to understand drivers of
profitability or variances vs various periods.
 Documents and articulates findings in a clear and concise manner to Group Finance, Senior Management
and Other key functions in the organization.
 Performs deep analysis on past results and trends to drive improvement in predictability of future
performance and forecasting accuracy (leading/lagging indicators).
 Provides input to the closing process, financial controls, and ensures compliance over processes
 Coordinate in planning of Strategic Plan through aligning assumptions with internal leadership functions
and provide recommendations to management.
 Drives multi-country consolidation and alignment process during the Annual Operating Plan time frame.
 Ensure that all weekly, monthly, quarterly reports comply with professional standards, and organization
policies.
 Proactively formulates recommendations and implements policies or plans to ensure or increase the
organization’s profitability.
 Demonstrate and inspire integrity. Anticipate questions, issues and challenges from management,
external audit, etc. Avoid financial surprises. Anticipate questions and challenges.
 Stay current with requirements and environment. Keep management informed of any issues or gaps.
 Monitor and evaluate project progress and results to determine improvements in procedures needed to
meet ultimate objectives.
 Monitor or conduct ongoing analyses of potential and current investments, acquisitions, divestitures, and
other investments.
 Manage the preparation of all reports related to new business opportunities; analyze significant variances
from planned or forecasted results and provide interpretative comments and recommendations to senior
management.
 People Management/Development: Build, lead, direct and motivate the department members to achieve
performance objectives. Coach, mentor and define training needs and facilitate development activities.
 Ensure consistency and reliability of Cognos reports across LGM and expand BI capabilities.
 Participate in regional initiatives related to: OGSM goal setting, ethics and values, culture change.

Qualifications

Education: Chartered Accountant or Master degree in Business Administration, Business Economics, Finance and
Accounting
