Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Mechanical Engineer Intern to join our team. In this role, you will support our mechanical engineering team by assisting with the developing and execution of various projects. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product engineering while developing your professional skill set in a collaborative corporate environment.

IN YOUR DAILY WORK, YOU WILL:

  • Develop 3D models and drawings for different products
  • Analyze and implement mechanical requirements
  • Support in ME organization for implementation and monitoring of development procedures and methods
  • Set up and drive implementation of small-size projects and ECRs (engineering change requests) as defined by the specification documentation
  • Analyze data as required, with the support of the ME colleagues
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Mechanical Engineer in an orderly and efficient manner
  • Working in international project teams

Qualifications

  • Final year student or recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Fluent in English, advanced user of MS Office suite
  • Ability to understand mechanical documentation
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Initiative-driven with strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Experience in part and product design

WOULD BE A PLUS:

  • Tool knowledge in CAD Creo preferred
  • Collaborating with remote teams
  • Basic understanding of production processes in the automotive industry
  • German language communication abilities
  • Usage of AI tools in the mechanical design
  • Usage of 3D printer
  • Experience in student projects
