Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Industrial Engineer to join our team at our facility located in Parque Industrial FINSA, Aguascalientes Mexico.
As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring quality control throughout our operations performing next activities:
- Analyze and evaluate manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Develop and implement Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance productivity.
- Design and conduct time studies, work sampling, and other industrial engineering techniques to establish standard times and improve work methods.
- Calculate and look for improvements to optimize Head Count.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement New Engineering Changes or New Products.
- Work together with the other areas to produce Prototype Samples.
- Utilize CAD software to create, modify and improve production Layouts.
- Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues in production standard times.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff on process improvements and changes in the standard work.
- Continuously monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency (OEE).
- Conduct ergonomic assessments and implement improvements to enhance workplace safety and employee well-being.
- Develop and maintain Standard Work Documents (SOS, SWI, COM) for manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
- Participate in new product development projects, providing input on manufacturability and process design.
- Maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOM) and Manufacturing Routes.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and kaizen events to drive operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Intermediate/Advanced English .
- Experience:
- In Industrial Engineering or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
- Engineering Changes Implementation.
- Time Management.
- Problem-solving skills with a proven track record of implementing process improvements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge:
- Six Sigma & Lean manufacturing principles.
- Process Optimization Techniques
- CAD Software for Layouts Designs
- Office Advance (Excel, Macros, Power Point, Outlook)
