Job Description
The base salary range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00 hourly.
$1,000 Hiring Bonus for successful candidates! Our Security Patrol Officer will be focused on monitoring and patrolling assigned areas and is responsible for rendering aid to guests and team members relating to their safety and security. Officers interact with guests to ensure their visit is memorable and facilitate resolution in the event concerns are raised. Officers conduct routine patrols of the property and document and mitigate unusual findings. This individual will investigate claims, provide recommendations and take action as necessary. Necessary skills include working knowledge of computerized systems, proficiency in oral and written communications, professionalism and warmth. This is a casual position.
- Patrol the property with specified equipment, check all designated points and document all actions taken.
- Ensure all guest room doors are secured; assist guests and residents with room access.
- Investigate suspicious persons on property.
- Conduct designated investigations into theft or lost items, noise complaints, assault complaints, food poisoning complaints, and other guest and resident complaints; complete documented reports.
- Respond to the scene of guest and Team Member accidents promptly; administer first aid/CPR; communicate specified information to E.M.S./medical personnel as required.
- Report to scenes of guests or Team Members fighting.
- Comply with state regulations and property guidelines for handling intoxicated guests and residents.
- Resolve safety hazard situations and coordinate towing of vehicles.
Qualifications
- 1-year experience as a Security Officer or equivalent.
- Valid drivers' license.
- Prior experience in a luxury environment is a plus.
- Ability to acquire and maintain Hawaii Guard Card Certification.
