Job Description
Embark on a rewarding journey with our team as a Lounge Server, where you'll create a welcoming and elevated experience for guests enjoying handcrafted cocktails, light bites, and conversation before dinner or throughout the day. In this fast-paced role, you'll deliver warm, attentive service while upholding the luxury standards of Bishop's Lodge.
- Create a relaxed yet refined guest experience by serving handcrafted cocktails, wine, beer, and appetizers with efficiency and genuine hospitality.
- Anticipate guest needs, provide knowledgeable menu and beverage recommendations, and ensure every interaction is warm, engaging, and personalized.
- Accurately take and enter orders into the POS system, deliver food and beverages promptly, and process payments with attention to detail.
- Work collaboratively with bartenders, culinary, and fellow team members to maintain smooth service during high-volume periods.
- Keep the lounge clean, organized, and inviting while maintaining Auberge Resorts Collection service standards and safe food handling practices.
- Thoughtfully recommend menu items and specialty beverages to enhance the guest experience while supporting outlet revenue goals.
- Maintain a sense of urgency and professionalism, ensuring guests receive exceptional service in a casual, social atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience in food and beverage or hospitality; luxury resort or upscale restaurant experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and beverage service.
- Must meet the minimum legal age requirement to serve alcohol.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and the ability to provide warm, attentive service in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required state and local certifications, including Food Handler and Alcohol Server certifications.
