Marketing Manager

  • Full-time

Company Description

Bring the AsureQuality brand to life for our B2B customers

New Zealand’s food sector underpins our economy, our communities, and our global reputation.

For more than 150 years, AsureQuality has helped protect the integrity of food in Aotearoa and around the world. As our marketing capability continues to grow, we’re looking for a Marketing Manager who can help bring our value to life — ensuring customers clearly understand the impact of our services and why they matter.

This role plays a key part in delivering marketing that strengthens our brand, supports our products, and drives commercial outcomes.

Job Description

If you’re a marketer who enjoys turning insight into action and strategy into execution, this role offers the opportunity to make a visible impact.

Working across multiple sectors and products — from auditing and testing to training and consulting — you’ll sit at the heart of our marketing delivery. You’ll plan and execute campaigns, create compelling content, manage channels, and support go-to-market initiatives.

Partnering closely with Product Marketing Specialists and business stakeholders, you’ll translate customer and market insights into clear, benefit-led storytelling that resonates with our B2B audiences.

This is a hands-on role for a strong operator — someone who enjoys crafting messages, executing campaigns, and ensuring every piece of communication strengthens the brand and supports commercial goals.

What you’ll be doing

  • Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels

  • Create high-quality, customer-focused content that brings our brand and services to life

  • Turn complex or technical information into clear, compelling marketing messages

  • Partner with product and business teams to support product launches and go-to-market activity

  • Manage marketing channels and corporate communications

  • Ensure campaigns and communications are delivered on time, on brand, and on budget

What’s on offer

  • Full-time, permanent role

  • Auckland-based

  • Competitive salary

  • Supportive leadership and development opportunities

  • A purpose-led organisation with a strong values-driven culture

  • The chance to contribute to an organisation helping protect the integrity of food in New Zealand and globally

About you

  • You’re an organised, pragmatic marketer who enjoys making things happen.
  • You’re comfortable managing multiple initiatives at once and working across teams to produce marketing that delivers real business impact. You combine operational marketing capability with strong writing skills and know how to translate complex information into messaging that customers understand and value.

Key requirements

You’ll likely thrive in this role if you:

  • Have 5+ years’ experience in roles such as Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, or Senior Marketing Advisor

  • Have 2+ years’ experience in B2B marketing, including campaign planning, content creation, and channel management

  • Are confident creating benefit-led content across multiple channels

  • Can translate technical or complex information into clear, customer-focused messaging

  • Have experience in regulated, technical, science-led, or B2B service environments

  • Can turn business priorities and insights into practical marketing delivery

What success looks like in your first year

  • Customers have a clearer understanding of the AsureQuality brand and the value of our services

  • Marketing initiatives strengthen the brand and support product and commercial outcomes

  • Campaigns and go-to-market initiatives are delivered effectively, consistently, and on time

  • Marketing operations run smoothly, with strong team coordination and clear performance insights
