Hybrid Work Model

Job Description

Position Summary

Assent is seeking a highly skilled Data Visualization Specialist to join our Revenue Analytics team within Revenue Operations. This role is dedicated to transforming complex revenue, sales, marketing, and customer data into compelling visual stories that drive executive decision-making and operational action.

This individual will serve as the visual storytelling expert for the revenue organization — designing dashboards, analytical assets, and executive-ready presentations that surface insights, expose trends, and influence strategy. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in Tableau and Salesforce with strong business acumen and a passion for making data understandable, persuasive, and actionable.

Key Responsibilities

Data Visualization & Storytelling

  • Design and develop world-class dashboards and analytical visualizations using Tableau and Salesforce CRM

  • Translate complex datasets into clear, compelling visual narratives that support business decisions at all levels

  • Partner with Revenue Analytics, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and executive leadership to identify the right story behind the data

  • Build executive-ready presentations that highlight insights, performance trends, risks, and opportunities

Analytics Partnership & Insight Generation

  • Work closely with the Revenue Analytics team to define metrics, KPIs, and analytical frameworks

  • Surface hidden patterns, correlations, and anomalies that influence revenue performance

  • Contribute to forecasting, pipeline analysis, performance management, and strategic planning through data storytelling

Data Curation & Quality

  • Develop a strong understanding of Assent’s data infrastructure, sources, and systems

  • Curate, validate, and reconcile data from multiple platforms to ensure accuracy, consistency, and trust

  • Apply data governance and best practices in visualization design

Visualization Standards & Enablement

  • Establish and maintain visualization standards, templates, and best practices across the revenue organization

  • Mentor stakeholders on effective data consumption and interpretation

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data visualization, business intelligence, or analytics

  • Formal education or certification in Data Visualization, Analytics, Information Design, or related field

  • Expert-level proficiency in Tableau

  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and revenue data structures

  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into clear business stories and executive-level insights

  • Proven experience curating, validating, and working across complex data ecosystems

  • A portfolio of data visualization projects demonstrating design excellence and storytelling impact

Preferred

  • Experience supporting Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or executive analytics

  • Strong presentation design and communication skills

  • Familiarity with revenue metrics such as pipeline, bookings, forecasting, churn, and ARR

Within the first year, the Data Visualization Specialist will:

  • Elevate the quality and impact of Assent’s revenue dashboards and executive reporting

  • Enable faster, more confident decision-making across Revenue Operations and leadership

  • Establish a consistent, high-standard visualization language for the organization

  • Become a trusted partner to Revenue Analytics and executive stakeholders
