Job Description

Position Summary 
The Shared Services Accounting Manager – Order to Cash (O2C) is responsible for leading high-volume transactional accounting operations across multiple business lines within Aspen One, including hospitality, resort, and ancillary revenue streams. This role provides hands-on leadership over billing, collections, cash application, and customer account management, while driving process standardization, automation, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) performance, and project execution within a centralized Shared Services model. The Manager will lead and support cross-functional projects and system initiatives, ensuring scalable, efficient processes that enhance financial accuracy and customer experience. This position reports to the Sr Director, Shared Services. 

The salary range for this position is $82,000 to $100,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions 
Order-to-Cash Operations Leadership 

  • Lead day-to-day O2C operations including billing, invoicing, collections, and cash application across multiple lines of business  
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, deposits, and customer payments (ACH, wire, lockbox, POS integrations)  
  • Oversee account reconciliations, aging analysis, and resolution of discrepancies  

Cash & Revenue Management 

  • Monitor deposit activity and coordinate payment application across business units  
  • Partner with operations teams (lodging, F&B, retail, ski operations) to ensure accurate revenue capture and reconciliation  
  • Drive reduction in DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and improve cash flow performance  

Process Improvement, Systems & Project Management 

  • Lead and support cross-functional projects, including system implementations, process redesign, and automation initiatives  
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful delivery  
  • Identify and implement process improvements, standard operating procedures, and scalable solutions  
  • Support system enhancements across Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Point of Sale (POS), and sales platforms  

Expense Management (T&E Support) 

  • Partner with Accounts Payable Manager to help manage Concur expense reporting processes, including audit, compliance, and reimbursement accuracy  
  • Support corporate card reconciliation processes and policy adherence  

Cross-Functional Partnership 

  • Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Operations, Sales, and IT to resolve issues and improve workflows  
  • Partner with Sales and Events teams to ensure accurate billing inputs and customer account setup 

Team Leadership & Performance Management 

  • Supervise and develop O2C team members in a high-volume, service-oriented environment  
  • Establish and track KPIs (e.g., invoice cycle time, cash application accuracy, DSO, aging metrics)  
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence  
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

Education & Experience Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field  
  • 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, resort, retail, or multi-entity environments 
  • 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel  
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (Oracle JDE preferred)  
  • Experience with Travel & Expense (T&E) Management systems (Concur strongly preferred)  
  • Experience with sales/event management and customer data integration system (Delphi and/or Salesforce preferred)   
  • Familiarity with hospitality/resort systems (e.g., Toast, Mashgin, Silverware, HMS, Inntopia) highly desirable  
  • Demonstrated experience leading or supporting projects, system implementations, or process transformations  
  • Experience in high-volume, transactional environments required  
  • Strong operational leadership with a hands-on approach  
  • Proven project management and execution capability  
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, seasonal environment  
  • Analytical mindset with focus on process improvement and automation  
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills  
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy  
  • Customer-first mindset with service-oriented approach

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements  
  • No adverse or hazardous conditions 
  • Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance 
  • Hybrid work schedule (minimum 3 days based in-office in downtown Denver)
