Job Description

  • Develop detailed piping test packs using approved P&IDs, Isometrics, line lists, and project documentation & ADNOC specifications
  • Review piping drawings, test packages and specifications to ensure readiness for pressure testing
  • Coordinate with construction team to confirm piping systems are installed and ready for testing
  • Ensure all welding, non-destructive testing (NDT), and inspection activities are completed prior to testing
  • Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspection approvals, properly archive and update the test packages accordingly
  • Ensure punch closure prior to handover to completion team
  • Manage and update master test package tracking registers to provide clear visibility on testing progress from initial development till final sign-off
  • Submit complete test package including certified pressure charts, calibration records and inspection sheets
  • Ensure compliance with project & ADNOC 100% HSE policies and safe execution of all activities
  • Support Mechanical Completion certification processes
  • Address and resolve technical queries and site execution challenges related to test limits, piping components, and documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • 4–6 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven track record in piping pressure testing methodologies, test boundary isolation, and system turnover procedures
  • Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards such as ASME B31.3 and hydrotesting procedures
  • Experience working with QA/QC processes, non-destructive testing methods (NDT), and inspection requirements, completion handovers
  • Familiarity with completion software such as Co-console is desirable
  • Expertise in reading and interpreting P&IDs, isometric drawings, and engineering documentation
  • Strong coordination and communication skills with the ability to interface across multiple disciplines
  • Experience working on large-scale oil & gas projects, preferably in the Middle East and with major operators or EPC contractors
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written) is essential.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
