Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for two full of potential and reliable Technical Office Engineers (Civil) to join our top qualified and knowledgeable team for one of our major projects in 10th of Ramadan City, Egypt.

What you will need to do:

  • Prepare, coordinate, and review structural shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings for bridge works.
  • Develop temporary works designs in compliance with project requirements and applicable standards.
  • Prepare purchase requests for permanent materials procured by the site team.
  • Evaluate technical submittals for materials and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate with the Construction Manager to establish and optimize construction methodologies.
  • Participate in constructability reviews and provide practical engineering solutions.
  • Support the Construction Section Heads and Site Engineers in preparing method statements, lifting plans, procedures, and other construction documentation.
  • Coordinate with engineering, site, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery of technical documentation.

 

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • 2–7 years of relevant experience in structural engineering within the construction industry.
  • Previous hands-on experience in preparing structural shop drawings for bridges is mandatory.
  • Good knowledge of temporary works, construction methodologies, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Experience with Civil 3D or BIM software is an advantage.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

 

What is nice to have:

  • Experience in railway, metro, or LRT bridge projects.
  • Familiarity with international construction standards and best practices.
