Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a full of potential and reliable HSE Engineer to join our top qualified and knowledgeable team in our Athens Office, in Greece.

As an HSE Engineer you will be responsible for coordinating HSE activities across Corporate, Country, and Project levels, while providing support to the Corporate HSE function. You will be also maintaining HSE reporting and benchmarking systems, managing HSE documentation and records, and preparing performance monitoring reports, presentations, and trend analyses to support compliance, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement of HSE standards.

What you will need to do:

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of HSE practices, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards, behavioral safety principles, and regulatory requirements within the Construction industry.  
  • Provide support to HSE Director, Project and Regional HSE Managers and follow up on agreed actions and deliverables. 
  • Participate in the performance and continuous improvement of the HSE Management System in compliance with applicable legislation and company standards.  
  • Respond to tenders and pre-qualifications HSE Questionnaires.
  • Conduct and support internal and external HSE audits, site visits, and compliance assessments.  
  • Develop HSE plans, emergency response procedures, and site-specific safety programs when required at the initial stage of a project.
  • Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering OR HSE discipline (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic  degrees or vocational qualifications in the country of issue) 
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Construction
  • NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent  Any other HSE certifications  
  • ISO 45001/ ISO 14001 Lead/Internal auditor . 
  • Flexibility in overseas travelling (30%)
