Archirodon has been awarded a major Oil & Gas EPC project in UAE, and is currently building a team of experienced Lead Engineers, who will be based in our UAE office and lead the multidiscipline Engineering of the project.

Project includes the detailed engineering and design, quality assurance and control, procurement/supply, interface management, construction/installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning/start-up of Hydrocarbon & non-Hydrocarbon systems and management including all works required for the job completion.  The main objective of this brownfield project is to increase the production handling capacity by adding a new Production Train and associated facilities at an existing Central Degassing Station and a new gas lift compressor train at another existing Central Degassing Station.

Role Summary:

  • Lead the design and engineering of static equipment including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, columns, and piping systems in compliance with ASME, API, TEMA, and relevant international standards.
  • Review and approve design calculations, including Pressure vessel thickness calculations, Stress analysis and reinforcement, Thermal expansion and load calculations, Nozzle load and support design
  • Oversee preparation and validation of equipment datasheets, specifications, material requisitions (MR), and technical bid evaluations (TBE).
  • Coordinate with process, piping, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams to ensure proper integration and alignment of design requirements.
  • Review and approve GA drawings, fabrication drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and layout drawings to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and support during all project phases including engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning.
  • Lead vendor management activities, including technical clarifications, drawing reviews, inspections, and expediting to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Ensure implementation of QA/QC procedures and compliance with company and client standards for all static equipment packages.
  • Participate in HAZOP, design reviews, risk assessments, and constructability reviews to ensure safety and operability of designs.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and design challenges, providing effective engineering solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers, ensuring knowledge transfer and adherence to best engineering practices.
  • Monitor and ensure all deliverables meet project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

  • 20 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects, with a focus on Static equipment.

  • Strong understanding of international standards (API, ASME, etc.).

  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage multi-disciplinary engineering teams.

  • Previous experience in EPC projects is mandatory.

  • Excellent English communication skills – spoken and written
