Job Description
We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a resourceful Junior Tendering Engineer (Electrical) to join a top qualified and knowledgeable Tendering Team in our Athens Office.
Role summary:
The Tendering engineer will be Interfacing with major international customers and partners. He/She will support the development of proposals and tenders for international projects. Main responsibilities of the Tendering Engineer will be to:
- Participate and supports the analysis of tender specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates
- Identify potential risks and uncertainties in cost estimates
- Assist in the preparation of material and subcontract enquiries and the evaluation of quotations
- Develop detailed direct cost estimates for specific parts of the scope
- Prepare presentations for internal (within company) and external (partners /clients) purposes
- Assist in preparation of interfacing plans, DORs, BOQ splits, and other documents related to JVs and Consortia.
Qualifications
- BSc in Electrical Engineering
- MSc in relevant areas will be highly welcomed
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Displays strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
- Displays a team spirit and possesses international mindset, particularly in a multicultural environment
- Displays a “can-do” attitude, is flexible and hands on
- Is keen to learn and professionally grow
