Job Description
We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a Technical Office Engineer to join our project in the Laayoune, Morocco.
What you will need to do:
Your role may include but not limited to the following:
- To coordinate the final stages of design and procurement and take the lead of the site coordination between the E/M subcontractors and the Civil works
- Provide technical assistance to vendors and clients in coordination with Engineering team.
- Review of project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ and coordinate with procurement and nominated vendors.
- Review the deliverables from vendor and communicate any comments in coordination with
- Engineering team in addition to review French translation of all deliverables
- Review and check all mechanical drawing and cross check it with related civil drawings to identify and order the embedded items.
- Capability to Supervise the construction activity with subcontractors during construction phase.
Qualifications
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Seven (7) to Ten (10) years of experience in the Construction industry
- Fluency in English and preferably French & Arabic
- Computer literacy, proficient in computer skills including use of MS Office
Experience in the following is highly required:
- Infrastructure and utility works (fire water, potable water
and sewage networks) - Electro chlorination systems, including dosing lines
distribution system and seawater supply system including
submersible seawater supply pumps - Offshore big diameter HDPE pipelines and relevant
auxiliaries - Fire Protection system (buildings and berths, trestles)
- Seawater intake pumping station including screening
equipment systems e.g. self-cleaning screens, penstock gates,
stop logs. - Overhead Cranes and Monorails
- Electrical systems including: Lighting, Power, Grounding
and Lightning.
