We are currently recruiting for a Barista to join our team at North East Scotland College, Aberdeen, AB25 1BN. This is a fantastic opportunity for a friendly and customer-focused individual to work within a busy college environment, preparing and serving high-quality hot and cold beverages while delivering excellent customer service.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages
• Delivering excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors
• Operating tills and handling customer transactions accurately
• Replenishing stock and maintaining beverage stations
• Ensuring coffee machines and equipment are cleaned and maintained
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout service areas
• Following food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures
• Supporting the wider catering team during busy service periods

About you

• Previous Barista or customer service experience is desirable but not essential
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and organised approach to work
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of service and presentation

Important Requirements

• Successful candidates will be required to obtain PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) clearance prior to commencing employment.
