Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a General Service Assistant to join our team at RAF Woodvale, Formby, L37 7AD. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking and reliable individual looking for flexible work within a busy and rewarding environment.

The Role

As a General Service Assistant, you will support the day-to-day operation of catering and facilities services, helping to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation. This is a varied role where you will work across multiple areas to ensure a smooth and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

• Serving food and beverages in a friendly and professional manner
• Assisting with basic food preparation and kitchen duties
• Operating tills and handling customer transactions accurately
• Replenishing stock, counters and service areas
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the workplace
• Assisting with washing up and general housekeeping duties
• Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times
• Working as part of a team to deliver an excellent customer experience
• Supporting the wider operation as required

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, retail or customer service is desirable but not essential
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety practices is advantageous

Additional Requirements

Employment is subject to satisfactory right to work checks.

Due to the sector requirements for this role, successful applicants must:

• Have the legal right to work in the UK
• Have been a UK resident for the past 3 years
• Be able to successfully obtain and maintain the required security clearance
• Successfully complete a DBS check

Employment will be conditional upon the successful completion of all required pre-employment, DBS and security vetting checks.
