General Catering & Kitchen Assistant - Blaenau Ffestiniog, Gwynedd, LL41 4DT

35 Hours Per Week | Monday to Thursday | £13.24 Per Hour

We are currently recruiting for a General Catering & Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Blaenau Ffestiniog, Gwynedd, LL41 4DT. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused and hardworking individual to become part of a busy catering operation, supporting food preparation, service delivery, and kitchen operations within a unique working environment.

What you'll be doing

• Providing excellent customer service to visitors and colleagues
• Assisting with the preparation of sandwiches, salads, and other cold food items
• Supporting the kitchen team with food preparation and service
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout kitchen and service areas
• Assisting with washing up and general kitchen duties
• Helping with deliveries, stock storage, and stock rotation
• Following food safety, health & safety, and company procedures at all times
• Supporting the wider catering team with day-to-day operational requirements

• Previous experience within a catering, kitchen, or customer service environment is preferred
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a busy environment
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service

• Successful candidates will be required to obtain BPSS security clearance.
• A DBS check will be required prior to commencing employment.
• This role is based within a high-security environment and successful applicants must be able to satisfy all site security requirements.
