We are currently recruiting for a Weekend Steward to join our team at Bourlon Barracks, Catterick Garrison, DL9 3AD. This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer-focused individual to work within a welcoming military mess environment, providing excellent service to members and guests during weekends.

What you'll be doing

• Serving drinks and bar snacks in a friendly and professional manner
• Managing cash and operating tills accurately
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the bar and lounge areas
• Managing stock levels and carrying out stock rotation using FIFO procedures
• Reporting customer feedback, issues, maintenance concerns, or hazards to management
• Supporting the wider team with additional duties as required
• Following licensing regulations, food safety, and health & safety procedures at all times
• Helping to create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for customers

• Must be aged 18 or over
• Previous bar or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail

• Applicants must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Successful candidates will be required to pass security vetting and DBS checks prior to commencing employment.
