Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Retail Supervisor to join our team at Northallerton, DL7 9NJ. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused individual to take on a supervisory role within a busy retail environment. You will support the day-to-day operation, lead by example, and help deliver an outstanding experience for customers.

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Retail Supervisor to support the management team in overseeing the daily operation of our retail service. You will play a key role in supervising colleagues, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring the smooth running of retail activities while fostering a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support retail team members during day-to-day operations
• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as required
• Monitor stock levels, merchandising, and product availability
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues in a professional manner
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, and health & safety procedures
• Support staff training, induction, and ongoing development
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and operational efficiency

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a retail, hospitality, or customer service environment
• Supervisory or team leader experience is desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service focus with a positive attitude
• Ability to motivate and support a team
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident handling day-to-day operational responsibilities
• Flexible approach to working patterns, including some weekends

Additional Requirements

• Employment is subject to satisfactory right to work checks
• Ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
• Must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK
• Successful candidates must satisfy all security clearance requirements before employment can commence.
