Job Description
Location: King Henry School, NP7 6EP
Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Term Time Only, 38 working weeks per year
We are currently looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at King Henry School in Abergavenny. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

What you'll be doing
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beverages
- Providing excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors
- Operating tills and handling transactions where required
- Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Cleaning dining areas, kitchen equipment, and service points
- Supporting the wider catering team with day-to-day operations
- Ensuring all company and client standards are met
Qualifications
- A positive and professional attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Previous catering or food service experience is desirable but not essential
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
