Job Description
As Workshop Technician you will be dedicated to workshop activities as:
1. Vehicle and engine preparation for testing activities:
- Replacing Engine and Vehicle components.
- Ensuring the correct function and smooth start of the engine for testing.
2. Vehicle alignment:
-Checking and aligning wheels on both axes within given tolerances.
- Tyre replacement and balancing.
3. Flashing ECU software:
-Downloading and flashing software provided by engineer on Engine ECU using dedicated equipment.
4. Vehicle and engine instrumentation for testing activities:
- Prepare and install different types of sensors and data acquisition systems like: thermocouples/pressure sensors/accelerometers /connecting acquisition systems.
5. TIG/MIG welding and machining skills.
6. Vehicle evaluation:
Test driving the vehicles to confirm that vehicle behavior after parts replacement.
7. Vehicle masking:
Masking of prototype vehicles using foil/ tape based on project standards.
8. Transmission:
- Replacing transmissions and clutches.
9. Troubleshooting / Diagnosing mechanical or electrical problems:
- Working with repair manuals, wiring diagrams, using Multimeter, oscilloscopes, and Diagnostic tools.
10. Stock management for vehicle spare parts and consumables.
Qualifications
Work experience in a Mechanical Workshop or similar working places (minimum 2 years).
Languages
- Minimum B2 English level.
- Added value if other language.
Valid Driving license
