About You
You are an Azure Cloud Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer passionate about building, supporting, and continuously improving cloud infrastructure. You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
- 4+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or related roles.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure.
- Professional experience building and maintaining infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience operating Azure PaaS services, including Azure Container Apps, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Policy.
- Good understanding of Azure networking, including VNets, Subnets, Private Endpoints, and Private DNS Zones.
- Experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
- Experience monitoring cloud environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, dashboards, and alerts.
- Experience supporting enterprise production environments and troubleshooting infrastructure incidents.
- Experience working with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively while following operational standards and engineering best practices.
- Advanced English proficiency.
Nice to Have:
- Experience operating Azure Container Apps or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Experience contributing to Terraform modules.
- Experience participating in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and postmortem activities.
- Familiarity with Azure Landing Zones.
- Experience supporting enterprise or highly regulated cloud environments.
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500).
- HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification.
You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day operation of Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Monitor cloud environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, dashboards, and alerting solutions.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and service requests while maintaining platform stability and availability.
- Support CI/CD pipeline execution and infrastructure deployments using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Maintain Azure networking resources, including VNets, Private Endpoints, and DNS configurations.
- Perform infrastructure health checks, backup validation, capacity monitoring, and operational maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to improve platform reliability and resolve complex infrastructure challenges.
- Create and maintain operational documentation, technical procedures, and runbooks.
- Contribute to automation initiatives that improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Continuously improve cloud operations through Site Reliability Engineering and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Terraform, Azure PaaS services, Azure networking, CI/CD, and cloud monitoring.
- Strong troubleshooting, automation, and cloud operations experience.
- Advanced English proficiency.
