    About You

    You are a Security & Compliance Analyst passionate about securing cloud environments and ensuring compliance through automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and security best practices. You thrive in highly regulated environments where you collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen cloud security posture, manage vulnerabilities, and implement identity and access management solutions.

    You are proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to building secure, scalable, and compliant cloud platforms while balancing security, operational efficiency, and business needs.

    You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
    • 5+ years of experience in Cloud Security, Cybersecurity, or Security & Compliance roles.
    • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Identity Governance, Access Reviews, and Application Registrations.
    • Experience administering Microsoft Defender for Cloud and implementing workload protection across Azure services.
    • Experience implementing and managing Azure Policy to enforce enterprise security standards.
    • Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
    • Experience securing Azure networking components, including NSGs, Azure Firewall, and Private Endpoints.
    • Experience managing cloud vulnerability remediation and security findings.
    • Understanding of container image security scanning and cloud infrastructure vulnerability management.
    • Strong communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
    • Advanced English proficiency.

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience with Wiz Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM).
    • Experience coordinating with Managed Detection and Response (MDR) providers.
    • Knowledge of NYDFS Part 500, FFIEC, CCPA, or similar regulatory frameworks.
    • Experience integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
    • AZ-500 Azure Security Engineer Associate certification.
    • SC-100 Cybersecurity Architect Expert or SC-300 Identity and Access Administrator certification.

    You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

    • Implement and maintain security controls within Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
    • Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for Cloud workload protection using Terraform.
    • Implement Azure Policy controls to enforce organizational security and compliance standards.
    • Support cloud security hardening initiatives through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
    • Coordinate vulnerability remediation and security findings with internal and external security teams.
    • Support cloud infrastructure and container security vulnerability management processes.
    • Prepare security compliance evidence for audits and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, Security, and Operations teams to strengthen Azure security posture.
    • Participate in incident response activities within assigned operational responsibilities.
    • Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and security evidence.
    • Continuously improve cloud security automation and compliance practices.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in Cloud Security, Cybersecurity, or Security & Compliance.
    • Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy, and Terraform.
    • Experience securing Azure networking and managing cloud vulnerabilities.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Advanced English proficiency.
