You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or similar technical support roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Ubuntu, macOS, and endpoint management tools.
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions and software maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of network connectivity, access point administration, and IT equipment setup.
- Experience working with ticketing systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with IT asset inventory management, software license administration, and vendor coordination.
- Experience supporting IT onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Intermediate English proficiency (written and verbal).
- Excellent customer service, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the company’s IT asset inventory, including computers, monitors, peripherals, and related equipment.
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and end-user devices through both remote and onsite assistance.
- Respond to user requests, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure timely resolution while delivering an excellent support experience.
- Administer access points and support network connectivity for local users.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on computers, operating systems, and software applications.
- Manage software licenses and ensure compliance with organizational IT policies.
- Execute IT onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment provisioning, account setup, and asset recovery.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors when required to resolve technical issues or support infrastructure needs.
- Document incidents, support activities, asset changes, and technical resolutions within the organization’s ticketing system.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT support processes and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in IT Support or Help Desk.
- Experience with Windows, Ubuntu, macOS, and MDM solutions.
- Knowledge of IT asset management, ticketing systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience supporting onboarding/offboarding and endpoint management.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
