About You
You are a UX/UI Designer passionate about creating intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging digital experiences. You have experience designing interfaces for web and mobile applications and understand how to balance user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints to deliver high-quality solutions.
You bring a user-centered mindset and strong visual design skills, allowing you to transform complex workflows into clear, efficient, and accessible experiences. You are comfortable collaborating with Product Managers, Developers, QA Engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the design process.
You thrive in collaborative environments where attention to detail, consistency, usability, and accessibility are critical to delivering successful products.
You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interaction Design, UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Service Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience designing digital products for web and mobile platforms.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma, including design systems, reusable components, and collaborative workflows.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, visual design, and usability best practices.
- Experience creating wireframes, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Experience designing responsive and scalable interfaces across different screen sizes and devices.
- Experience designing mobile application experiences.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
- Experience designing interfaces for large-format displays or kiosk-style experiences. (Highly desirable).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, and QA teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- English proficiency (B2 or higher).
You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:
- Design intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces for mobile and digital products.
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes to support product development initiatives.
- Design experiences that comply with accessibility standards and usability best practices.
- Ensure consistency across interfaces through the use of design systems and reusable components.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and QA Engineers to translate requirements into effective design solutions.
- Participate in design reviews, feedback sessions, and iterative improvement processes.
- Design interfaces optimized for large-screen mobile and kiosk experiences when required.
- Validate design solutions and support implementation teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to maintaining design standards, documentation, and UI consistency across products.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in UX/UI Design.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma.
- Experience designing mobile application interfaces.
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
- English proficiency (B2 or higher).
