Job Description
The Global Marketing Activations and Events Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end planning, execution, and evaluation of all De Beers London events across Press and Retail. This role ensures every event is delivered to exceptional standards, reflects brand identity consistently, and drives meaningful commercial and brand outcomes.
Event Strategy, Planning & Delivery
- Lead the full lifecycle of all Press and Retail events from concept, planning, and execution through to post-event analysis and reporting.
- Ensure every event reflects De Beers’ brand strategy, visual identity, and luxury positioning at every physical touchpoint.
- Translate global event toolkits into impactful and locally relevant activation plans that maintain global alignment while addressing market-specific needs.
- Partner closely with local Marketing teams to deliver seamless brand execution and ensure integrated planning across channels.
- Work in close collaboration with the Head of Department and key senior stakeholders to ensure events support broader brand, PR, and commercial objectives.
Budget & Resource Management
- Oversee event-related budgets with a focus on strategic allocation, operational efficiency, and clear ROI reporting.
- Manage financial processes including vendor cost estimates, approvals, and reconciliation.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Lead the sourcing, onboarding, and management of third-party vendors (production agencies,
venues, creative partners, etc.).
- Own all vendor briefing documentation, contracting processes, and cost evaluations to ensure
best-in-class delivery.
Event Measurement & Reporting
- Conduct robust post-event evaluations including KPIs, guest experience insights, operational
learnings, and ROI recommendations.
- Ensure insights inform continuous improvement cycles and future global event strategies
Qualifications
- Previous experience in events, marketing, communications, or project management preferred.
- Awareness of current trends within the industry, from what drives social engagement to new and
- key players within the markets that make events exciting.
- A database of trusted suppliers and contacts.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Creative and entrepreneurial mindset
- Passion for events, experience, and storytelling through physical environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable with hands-on event delivery and willing to travel when required
