Location: Rustenburg Process
This role is at a B1 level reporting to the Process Supervisor.
Job Description
The objective of the Processor Academy is to educate individuals in the various processes in the Process Plant through exposure and training for a contractual period to empower them to apply for Processor vacancies as they become available at Process Operations. The Valterra Platinum recruitment procedure will be applied when appointing suitably qualified candidates in advertised positions. If no vacancies exist following the stipulated period, the employment will be terminated upon expiry.
Qualifications
In order to be considered for this role, you must have the following requirements:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science and English, (Mathematics Literacy will not be considered)
- Must have obtained a pass mark of 40% and above on each subject
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills in English
- South African Driver’s license will be advantageous
Knowledge and Skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Able to work on heights and in confined spaces
- A valid South African Driver's License is beneficial
- Basic Computer literacy skills is beneficial
Additional information
Cadetship Conditions:
- Must be prepared to work at a high-risk, noisy and dusty areas in the Plant
- Work in accordance to work schedule of area and could possibly involve working shifts
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must pass the relevant psychometric assessments
- Must have a medical certificate of fitness or able to obtain one
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills in English
