Job Description

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for defining a Shared Service Strategy and obtaining executive approval.
  • Lead and develop the required governance, systems and processes to effectively manage service partner relations, performances and billing in accordance with the MOA, statement of works and contracts.
  • Manage supplier relationships and maintain professional courtesy and stability with these relationships.
  • Oversee, monitor, give effect and report on performance target delivery as defined in Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
  • Constantly review the validity of SLA cost and benefits for the business through business cases and benchmarking.
  • Respond to internal non-conformances of the third-party SLA’s with respective operations and Functions.
  • Leverage specialist expertise to address process challenges, drive simplification and implement changes to improve operational service delivery and reduce costs of services.
  • Engage and collaborate with Functional Subject Matter Experts to drive agreed deliverables against financial and business parameters.
  • Establish systems to support the business transaction processes and deliver on business reporting needs.
  • Identify cross functional synergies to improve shared services efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop, improve and refine shared services processes, systems and technology.
  • Develop and implement effective risk management and control strategies.
  • Initiate cross discipline accountability measures and cadence procedures.
  • Assist with the implementation and delivery of projects related to business process improvement and digital transformation.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A financial or business‑related honours degree

Experience:
7 – 10 years’ related experience.

  • Technical knowledge (experience) required for role:
  • Deep knowledge and experience of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)
  • Proven experience of managing 3rd party relationships and contract management
  • Proven experience in developing business cases for outsourcing initiatives and implementing outsourcing programmes
