The Challenge

The Desktop Support Technician plays a critical role in providing desktop support, hardware, software, and basic network diagnostics and troubleshooting to best facilitate a stable and reliable Information Technology infrastructure. The successful candidate is a tech- savvy problem solver with a passion for providing outstanding customer service being the first-line technical support to end-users via phone, e-mail or in-person.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements for the position

  • National IT Diploma (NQF Level 6)
  • Code B Driver’s License (manual transmission)
  • Three (3) to Four (4) Years relevant IT experience
  • A+ and/or Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) / qualifications
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals ITIL Framework (Added advantage).
  • Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA): Windows Operating System Funda-mentals (Added Advantage).
  • Exposure to an IT Service environment supporting end-user computing.
  • Prior experience in a 'teamwork' environment
