We have an exciting position for an Onboarding Administrator to provide administrative support to ensure the effective movement of Contractors (new hires, rehires, terminations, changes of personal details) and the onboarding of new permanent employees.

Job Description

As Onboarding Administrator you will provide services as required and your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Adhere to all health and safety practices and requirements.
  • Create and maintain Contractor Manpower Management information in SAP for authorised contractor positions and incumbents.
  • Ensure document control by adhering to document control policies.
  • Ensure effective retrieval of documents for future reference.
  • Change and maintain employee details on SAP, such as marriage certificates, incorrect ID numbers, surnames or names, and work permits.
  • Upon upload completion, submit accurate and authorised Contractor Manpower forms for new hires, rehires, and terminations to GSS.
  • Attend to queries and provide timely feedback to ensure efficient problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist the Supervisor and co-workers when instructed or during the absence of the responsible person to ensure the achievement of functional objectives while following company policies.

This role is in the Contractor Performance Management (CPM) at a Band A3 level reporting to the P&O Onboarding Advisor.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant Office Administration qualification on NQF4
  • Project Management course advantageous
  • SA Drivers Licence

Experience

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in onboarding administration.
  • Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Foundational Project Management knowledge in a Mining/Construction/Engineering environment.
