About the role
Based out of our Gladstone Depot, you'll operate a Mini Tanker providing onsite refuelling services to customers across the region.
You'll manage your own daily run, build positive relationships with customers, and deliver safe, reliable service every time.
Your day may include:
Onsite refuelling of customer equipment and vehicles
Delivering lubricants and related products
Conducting pre-start and operational safety checks
Managing delivery documentation and compliance requirements
General depot and yard duties as required
Working safely around heavy equipment and industrial environments
This role suits someone who enjoys responsibility, is self-motivated, and takes pride in delivering a professional service.
No fuel industry experience? That's okay. If you've got solid truck driving experience, a strong safety mindset, and a great attitude, we'll provide the training and support to help you succeed in this specialised role.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
Current HR Licence
Proven heavy vehicle driving experience
Strong commitment to safety
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
Reliable, professional and team-oriented attitude
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Ability to safely climb onto plant and equipment to perform refuelling tasks
Has a strong track record as a professional driver
Enjoys interacting with customers
Takes ownership of their work
Looks for solutions rather than problems
Wants to be part of a positive and supportive team
Is ready to build a long-term career rather than simply find another driving job
Advantageous, but Not Essential
Fuel industry experience
Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence
Safe Loading Pass (SLP)
Knowledge of Dangerous Goods, transport, safety and environmental requirements
