About Energy
Our Energy Solutions team is leading Ampol’s response to the energy transition -developing lower carbon solutions for customers and reducing our own emissions. We’re investing in future-focused technologies and services, from EV charging and hydrogen to carbon offsets and biofuels.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of Energy Solutions technical standards and develop technical documentation
- Work on building out processes, procedures and guideline documents
- Work on continuous improvement of existing processes and updating requirements
- Write technical documentation, work instructions and procedural processes.
- Work on R&D projects that support the expansion of approved electrical hardware.
- Work with developing AI capability to expand accessibility of technical standards across Energy Solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 2-3 years experience in Electrical Engineering Design.
- Foundational knowledge and understanding of electrical components, electrical design principles and electrical safe systems of work & best practices.
- Understanding of Electric Vehicle Charging infrastructure and integrated systems.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in documenting and developing reports to support development of Technical Standards.
- Fundamental proficiency in CAD software such as AutoDesk Products or other CAD software.
- Good analytical skills to be able to review data and formulate determinations
