About the Role
As a Merchandise Planner, you’ll play a critical role partnering with our Head of Trade and Category Managers to drive sales, profitability and inventory optimisation across our retail network.
You’ll leverage data and insights to shape forecasts, influence trade planning, and ensure we deliver the right products, at the right time, in the right stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver financial forecasts and planning models to optimise sales, profit and inventory
- Analyse sales data, trends and market conditions to inform pricing, ranging and promotions
- Partner cross-functionally with Trade, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain to execute trade plans
- Lead the development and maintenance of merchandise reporting dashboards and insights
- Allocate promotional and investment buys based on performance and store segmentation
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve commercial performance and category outcomes
About You
- Strong experience in retail planning, category management or merchandise analytics
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
- Solid understanding of retail math, forecasting, pricing and inventory management
- Experience with Power BI (or willingness to learn)
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- A commercially astute thinker with strong problem-solving and communication skills
