Job Description
We are looking for a Line Operator to join our team at our Montréal site.
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will operate production line equipment and ensure the smooth operation of daily activities. You will monitor the equipment, make the necessary adjustments and ensure the quality of the processed material, while following health and safety standards.
What you are responsible for:
- Inspect equipment at the beginning of the shift and report any issues to the Team Leader;
- Adjust equipment and production parameters as needed;
- Ensure a consistent flow of material on the production line;
- Monitor equipment performance and take action when issues arise;
- Check the quality of processed material and ensure it meets established standards;
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and keep the work area clean;
- Enter data, create work orders in the CMMS and complete required reports;
- Work safely and follow company health and safety policies and procedures;
- Collaborate with different teams to ensure smooth production operations;
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
To join our team:
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent education;
- You have a good command of French, both spoken and written;
- You are comfortable using computer tools;
- You are conscientious, organized and safety-conscious;
- You enjoy working as part of a team and can also work independently;
- You have experience in an industrial or production environment (asset);
- You have experience as a production operator or with industrial equipment (asset).
