Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Security, you will provide administrative support for investigation activities and contribute to document management, data analysis, statistical reporting, and projects related to security and video surveillance.
What you’re responsible for:
- Create electronic files for each investigation request;
- Assign cases to the appropriate investigators;
- Provide administrative follow-up from case opening through closure and ensure documentation is complete and compliant;
- Prepare and submit investigation reports to directors for review and approval;
- Maintain and update internal databases;
- Conduct research using various information sources, including Recy, Odoo, open-source intelligence (OSINT), and SOQUIJ;
- Compile and maintain departmental statistics, including investigation hours, case types, and other performance indicators;
- Develop an understanding of crime-related issues to accurately interpret data and support report preparation;
- File and archive recommendations, circulars, access restrictions, and other documents produced by the Corporate Security Department;
- Create and update site plans, incorporating recommendations provided by project managers;
- Prepare final versions of site plans, distribute them to the appropriate stakeholders, and update the project management software accordingly.
Qualifications
To join our team:
- You have a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Police Technology, a bachelor’s degree in Criminology, and/or education in a related field;
- You have experience in an administrative role or in providing support for investigations;
- You have excellent command of French and good proficiency in English, both written and spoken;
- You have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Visio;
- You are comfortable working with databases, research tools, and open-source information.
