AIM is currently looking for a Loader Operator for its Montréal-Est site, working a schedule of Monday to Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (10 hours per day). You will perform various loading and material handling tasks requiring the operation of your equipment. You will also be responsible for weighing materials entering and leaving the yard.

What you will be responsible for:

• Operate a loader efficiently and safely;
• Load and unload raw materials in the various departments;
• Complete and provide weight reports to the appropriate personnel;
• Notify the supervisor of any material non-conformities;
• Inspect equipment at the beginning and end of each shift;
• Feed the production line;
• Ensure the proper operation of equipment and report any issues to your immediate supervisor;
• Complete daily activity reports;
• Perform all other related duties.

To join our team:

• You have a DEP in Heavy Equipment Operation or 1 to 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment;
• You hold a valid Class 5 driver's licence;
• You are safety-conscious and committed to health and safety practices;
• You have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
• You have strong communication skills;
• You are able to work effectively as part of a team;
• Knowledge of metals is considered an asset.

Work Environment:

• Must be willing to work in a dusty and noisy industrial environment, sometimes outdoors and exposed to varying weather conditions;
• Physically demanding work.
